Admire Pleiku Lake (T'nung Lake) - Gia Lai
Pleiku Great Lake, also known as T'nung Great Lake, represents a mysterious story with the meaning "sea on the mountain". Located in the northwest of Gia Lai province and about 7km from Pleiku city center along Highway 14, this tourist destination attracts with a unique historical story.
- Local people say that this area was previously home to a rich and prosperous tribe. One sunny day, after the sacred Giang worship ceremony, the heavens and earth began to shake. The land around the village sank deeply and the water flooded, creating Pleiku Lake (T'nung Lake).
- The best time to explore Pleiku Lake is during the dry season, from November to April next year. March is coffee flower season, while November and December are the period when wild sunflowers begin to bloom. Visitors can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere, move flexibly and experience the wonderful natural beauty of the Central Highlands. In addition, if you choose the time from April to May, you also have the opportunity to participate in special festivals such as the New Rice Celebration.
