Lung Cu Flagpole - Symbol of Ha Giang Tourism
Located at the highest point of the sacred northernmost area of the country, the National Historical Site Lung Cu Flagpole is a sacred symbol of the sovereignty of Vietnam, situated in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.
- Viewed from a distance, Lung Cu Flagpole stands proudly atop the Dragon Mountain, with the red flag and yellow star fluttering proudly in the wind.
- Looking down the mountain, Thien Pa field spreads over 10 hectares, embracing the entire Dragon Mountain, with rows of earthen-walled houses, ancient yin-yang tiled roofs of the Lolo Chai village and the Mong ethnic people. These are the inhabitants living right at the foot of the flagpole.
It can be said that every step on the terraced fields leading to Lung Cu Flagpole, we experienced various emotions. The higher we climbed, the more mystical the beauty of Lung Cu became.
